Üsküdar Belediyesi Sports Club sponsored by New Balance, take the senior women's title at the European Champion Clubs Cross Country in Castellon, Spain.

Representing the first major success of the year 2012, the Üsküdar Belediyesi Sports Club athletes Belaynesh Jemamaby winning a gold madel and Asli Cakir Alptekin by winning a silver madel made history. In the six thousand meters race, also the Üsküdar Belediyesi Sport Club athletes sponsored by New Balance, Almitu Bekele Degfa took the sixth place, Bahar Dogan ranked tenth, Özlem Kaya ranked seventeenth and Gülcan Mıngır ranked twenty-fifth.
