Serge Lutens Perfumes was founded in 2000 in Paris. The brand's founder, Serge Lutens' career bears an unusual start; living in the city of Lille in northern France, he left school at the age of 14 and started working as an apprentice hairdresser. In 1962 Lutens decided to move to Paris and started working for Vogue magazine as photographer, hairdresser and makeup artist. In 1967, he began working with Christian Dior and designed Dior’s makeup line for 13 years until he collaborated with Shisedio Company taking in charge the visual identity and international image of the brand. It was through his creation of “Féminité du Bois” and the opening of Les Salons du Palais Royal in 1992 with their dreamlike décor, that Serge Lutens led his first true olfactory revolution in the field of perfume.

In 2000 Serge Lutens designed and created his own brand “Serge Lutens” available only at Les Salons du Palais Royal and luxury department stores. In 2015 Serge Lutens opened its second boutique in Moscow followed by its distribution by Vepa Group in Turkey since October.
